Claude's AskUserQuestion: "No response after 60s – continued without an answer"

A bug was reported where Claude's AskUserQuestion tool automatically proceeded with a decision after 60 seconds of user inactivity without explicit user input, undermining the intended safety mechanism. The issue was fixed in version 2.100, where the timeout is now configurable rather than default, only activates when the terminal lacks focus, and can be cancelled by pressing any key.
