Anthropic has launched Claude Duet, a new AI agent app available on iOS, Android, and claude.ai that proactively manages tasks and prioritizes information for busy professionals and small business owners. The app, built on Claude Opus 5.5, sends daily briefs on important items, monitors connected apps, and completes tasks ranging from scheduling to complex projects like building dashboards and forecasts, while checking with users before acting on their behalf. Safety features include credential protection, approval classifiers to prevent unauthorized actions, defenses against prompt injection, and adversarial testing by red teams and external security firms.
