Claude Cowork and chat are now one Claude

Anthropic has merged Claude Cowork and chat into a single Claude interface, eliminating the need to choose between platforms for different task types. New features include Claude Docs, Claude Slides, and integrated Claude Design, which allow users to create documents and presentations directly within conversations that can be edited, shared, and downloaded as PowerPoint or PDF. The unified platform is rolling out to Pro and Max plan users over the coming weeks, with Claude now able to determine what capabilities a task requires and maintain context across all work types.
