Claude Code now reads AGENTS.md if there is no Claude.md

Claude Code now reads AGENTS.md as a fallback for project instructions when no CLAUDE.md file exists. Version 2.1.277 also introduces several bug fixes and improvements, including support for custom headers on Claude apps gateway upstreams, fixes for hanging sessions and conversation failures, and corrections to file handling tools that were misinterpreting escape sequences.
