Check if a file was made with Claude

Anthropic has launched a tool that allows users to check whether files were created or edited using Claude by detecting C2PA content credentials embedded in images and media files. The tool runs locally in users' browsers without storing or transmitting files, and helps establish the origin of online content. However, the tool only confirms Claude's involvement—a missing signal doesn't guarantee the content wasn't made with Claude, as credentials can be removed or the file may have been created by other systems.
