Zeroserve, a high-performance HTTPS server, now supports Caddy compatibility by JIT-compiling Caddyfiles to native machine code via eBPF, achieving 3x higher throughput (38,948 req/s vs Caddy's 12,529 req/s) and 70% lower latency compared to Caddy. The Caddy-compatible mode also allows users to extend functionality with custom eBPF scripts for tasks like AWS SigV4-authenticated reverse proxying. Users can run zeroserve with their existing Caddyfiles while maintaining significantly lower memory usage and better performance than both Caddy and comparable to nginx.
