Audacity 4.0

Audacity 4.0 has been released with a major interface rebuild using Qt technology and introduces a new clip-editing model that allows clips to be selected, grouped, and edited together with improved flexibility. Key improvements include native high-DPI rendering, customizable workspaces and themes, enhanced paste functionality that can automatically create tracks, and context-sensitive tools that replace separate mode selections. Most Audacity 3 workflows remain compatible, though some controls have been repositioned or modified.
