Arm has unveiled the Mali G2-Ultra NX GPU, the first AI-native mobile graphics processor designed to deliver desktop-class gaming visuals on mobile devices by integrating neural accelerators directly into the graphics pipeline. The GPU features neural technologies like Neural Super Sampling, Frame Rate Upscaling, and Super Sampling with Denoising that use AI to reconstruct details and generate frames, reducing traditional rendering demands while staying within mobile power and thermal constraints. This advancement aims to make neural graphics accessible across next-generation mobile devices, building on Arm's track record of shipping over 14 billion Mali GPUs.
