Archive of our own (AO3) hacked

Archive of Our Own (AO3), a popular fanfiction repository, experienced a security incident and was taken offline for investigation and recovery efforts expected to last 2-4 weeks. While no data was deleted and user works remain safe, AO3 cannot rule out that the user database containing usernames, email addresses, IP addresses, and hashed passwords may have been stolen, and the organization recommends users change passwords on other sites if they reused their AO3 password.
