The M6, Apple's first 2-nanometer chip, features a 12-core CPU, 12-core GPU, and dual 16-core Neural Engine for improved everyday performance and power efficiency. The M5 Ultra, Apple's most powerful chip yet, uses a quad-die architecture with up to 36 CPU cores and 80 GPU cores, delivering unprecedented desktop-class performance and 1.2TB/s of unified memory bandwidth for demanding professional and AI workloads.
