The Pantheon was chosen as a suitable benchmark because it requires LLMs to handle intermediate-complexity geometry involving radial symmetry, Boolean operations, and constructive shapes—more challenging than basic syntax tests but achievable within OpenSCAD's capabilities. OpenSCAD's text-based, parametric code structure makes it well-suited for LLM-generated geometry compared to UI-driven tools, as models can directly describe transformations and operations in a way that's inspectable and reproducible.
