AI has no intent and no motivation

Current AI systems lack the motivation and intent necessary to pose an existential threat, despite concerns from some researchers. While large language models may appear intelligent through their training on vast amounts of language data, they have no biological drives, needs, or rewards after training is complete and cannot act unprompted or pursue independent goals. The real concern should focus on how AI is deployed and controlled by humans rather than on AI itself "going rogue."
