A hobbyist discovered a passion for vintage Casio pocket computers after learning they support BASIC programming and RS232 connectivity, leading him to develop several software projects including a radio contact logging application and a Morse code keying program. The programmability and hackability of these calculators transformed what he initially viewed as dull devices into versatile tools for his interests in amateur radio and software development. He has published some of his work open-source on GitHub and continues exploring the possibilities of these retro calculators.
