Lee Holloway, Cloudflare's co-founder and CTO, was the architect behind the company's key technologies including Anycast and same-IP access that enabled its rapid growth as a cloud service. Born in Silicon Valley in 1981 and mentored by entrepreneur Matthew Prince at anti-spam company Unspam Technologies, Holloway became a Chief Software Architect known for exceptional strategic thinking and programming talent. He was forced to step down from his role due to frontotemporal dementia (FTD), a serious brain disease.
