1,741 "informed" consents with one click? GDPR complaint filed

Privacy advocacy group noyb filed a GDPR complaint against the online dictionary dict.cc for requesting consent to share user data with 1,741 tracking partners through a single click, making it impossible for users to provide truly "informed" consent as required by law. Reading the privacy policies of all these companies would take approximately 170 hours, rendering meaningful understanding of data usage infeasible. The complaint highlights a widespread issue where websites use overly broad consent requests that violate GDPR principles, even eight years after the regulation came into force.
